Dining at Red Horse Mountain Ranch
 Our ranch cooking will force the belt buckles back a few notches and our menus are diverse enough to please most. In the spirit of a great Rocky Mountain Ranch, grandma's recipes are alive and well, but we've added a little flair to a few dishes. All you meat lovers, vegetarians, diabetics, or folks with allergies, will get three hearty meals each day. The Chefs prefer to know about all your dietary needs and they created a form for you to fill out before your arrival.
Chef Jim Budd, and the other chefs, will delight you with daily fresh breads, wonderfully plated dinners, 7 course dining, outdoor western ranch cooking, and international delights. Appetizers, soups, salads, and desserts are made fresh daily. Breakfasts are usually served to order, except during our Sunday brunches. Lunches are buffet, with a long line of salads, carved sandwhich meats, hot plates, and fresh fruit and cookies. You won't want to be late for dinners. Fresh steamed vegetables, warmed fresh breads, top rated beef cuts, wild game, free ranging chicken breasts, fresh cut fish, beautifully decorated plates, and absolute service are standards our chefs live by. |

Breakfast
In the Red Hose Mountain way, choice seems almost endless. Each mornin' has your choice of eggs, pancakes, French Toast, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, etc. Mom always said, "breakfast is the most important meal of the day." At Red Horse Mountain you'll have a busy day ahead of you on the trail and breakfast will start you off on the right foot.
Lunches
lunches are light meals for most; fresh salads, mixed greens, carved meat sandwhiches and fresh breads are the usual (and of course, the desserts!). But for those late risers with an appetite, there's always a hot meal from the Chefs just for good measure. Served in a buffet style, lunches are available most of the mid-afternoon. And don't worry, if you've decided for an All Day Adventure, your lunch was packed with care and most likely the hot cookies from the morning baker.
Dinners
Dinners are not where we end our day, but get ready for the next day's adventures. Typically served family style, you'll have your choice of at least two main dishes, a fare of sides, and of course, dessert. At least once a week, dinner will be served , in a large southern style barbeque, candlelight, a 7 course format, and family style. Fresh steamed vegetables, warmed fresh breads, top rated beef cuts, wild game, free ranging chicken breasts, fresh cut fish, beautifully decorated plates, and absolute service are standards our chefs live by.

Snacks
You'll always find fresh fruits, muffins, cookies, trail mix, fountain drinks, juices, and other snacks available in the lodge throughout the day and evening. In the morning, the Chefs usually have a hot pot of coffee brewing around 6 am for the early risers. We can promise during your stay that you won't go hungry at Red Horse Mountain Ranch."
Cocktail Hour
 At 5pm everyday, an open bar is available to our guests with appetizers. Choose from our selection of top rated microbrews, mixed drinks, and our house wines. Expect wonderful conversation times with our staff and hear about all of the day's adventures. You'll also have the opportunity to talk with you guides about tomorrows adventures, and make sure your next day is made to perfection.
