Pottery Barn

Working the wheel with clayNew for the 2011 summer season is our pottery barn where the kids get a chance to work with clay, paint ceramics, and do other fun crafts. Kids can choose from a number of different pre-made ceramic figurines, cups, mugs, plates, bowls, and other items. Once they’re done painting, they are dipped into glaze and fired in the kiln, ready to be taken home by the end of the week. We don’t have time in only one week to let the clay dry and fire it in the kiln, but the kids are more than welcome to take home whatever they make. It’s a great way to make something fun to take home as a souvenir from the ranch. There is no charge for the  first ceramic piece, but if the kids want to do more, there is a $5 charge for other ceramic pieces.
